| About
the Centre The Centre
was officially opened
in June 2004, and is situated
on a main arterial route
between Auckland and Waitakere
cities. Just hop on a
bus or train to the New
Lynn Station - we're then
a short five-minute walk
down Clark Street. |

your questions or point
you in the right direction
for specialist advice.

displays on anything from
solar hot water and energy
efficiency to green building
and renovating. |

and films, or do your
own research on the Centre

stroll through the organic
gardens, designed incorporating
permaculture principles.
They showcase techniques
that require less maintenance
than the average garden,
but can be incredibly
productive. The gardens
are divided into zones:
Compost Zone; Food Forest;
Guilds; Native Re-vegetation
and Maori Medicinal. |

Permaculture Design Course
The internationally recognised
Permaculture Design Certificate
(PDC) which typically
runs as a 2 week block
course is now being delivered
in a modular format. This
is made up of 12 modules
plus a design project
which collectively covers
all the content of the
traditional PDC. Book
